Fermo
At the summit and along the slopes of the Colle del Girfalco, Fermo is a Renaissance city steeped in history and monuments: the central Piazza del Popolo, the cathedral looming over the town, the fascinating subterranean Roman drinking water cisterns and the famous Hall with Maps of the World.
Torre di Palme
As one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, the charming centre of Torre di Palme offers a fantastic panoramic balcony set on a hilltop overlooking the Adriatic coast. Founded as a fortification to defend against pirate raids, this Roman village belongs to the circle of castles in Fermo.
